712 has dark red clinker brick with English style high pitched roofs and a splended two-story Tudor arched window in the living room wing. Large sweeping curved buttresses frame this wing. The front door is at an angle to the facade and under a very complicated roof line.

George Sturm founded the Sturm Clothing Company about 1900 at 127 W. Main Street.

James Baggett was superintendent of schools at Sayre in early statehood. He later operated the Baggett Engraving and Printing Company.
