Here is Lincoln Terrace's answer to Mt. Vernon. This buff brick with black hipped roof and black shuttered house has a large seven-bay columned two-story porch. There are three Dormer windows on the central roof, which features an eight-light cupola. The central mass is flanked by two matching wings on either side. The front door has a broken pediment surmounted by an urn. On Lincoln Boulevard, extensive gardens shielded by a wall can be seen.

This home was built in 1930 by Calloway Carey for a wealthy oil heiress. However, when the house was completed, she was unable to move into it and it was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Neff. The Neffs sold to Dr. Claude Reeves, who was an anesthesiologist. He taught and practiced at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and later went into private practice. He added the west wing for a library on the first floor and made the basement into a recreation room, including a soda fountain. The house was sold to the Faculty House Association in 1956.

Since 1956, the beautifully redecorated house has been operated as Faculty House, a private club and meeting place for faculty and friends of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
