Having dark red clicker brick with a hipped roof and broad two-story covered porches in front of a central mass, this house has French doors opening out of both symmetrical wings. The porch columns are of simple massive square brick, accenting its early 1920s look.

Mr. Trimble Latting was an attorney. Mrs. Patience Latting was a city councilwoman and was, for many years, the mayor of Oklahoma City. She was the first woman in America to be elected mayor of a city of more than 350,000 people. She served from 1971 to 1983.
