Colonial red brick and a pitched roof decorated with three large dormer windows -- each arched, headed, and pilastered and keystoned in wood -- mark this distinguished Georgian house as a special one. There are five bays with a curved doric, fluted columned porch at the central doorway. The side lights are leaded beveled glass. The first story windows have carved wood tympaniums over the windows surmounted with carved stone keystones. At the top of the grand stairway is a large fanlight in leaded glass. The imposing presence of the house is accented by a large side yard.
