Red brick with a wire-brushed texture under a pitch roof and simple cornice is offset with white trim and shutters in this four bay house. The entrance on the east bay has a pedimented porch with altered columns. A terrace extends the length of the front. Whimsical squirrel cut-outs decorate the first floor shutters. There is a five-sided alcove on the west with French doors onto the terrace.

Mr. Campbell was in the construction business and in 1920 formed a partnership with Mr. W.E. Price, who lived at 641 NE 15th Street. They built five homes on N.E. 15th Street. This firm was responsible for the construction of some of the more important structures in the 1920s and 1930s -- among them were the Shrine Temple, Owens Stadium, Skirvin Tower, Children's Memorial Hospital, the Liberal Arts building on the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority house in Norman, the Kerr department store building, the building at 10th and Broadway where Mr. Bolen had his automobile agency, and C.R. Anthony headquarters building at 6th and Broadway. At one time, Mr. A.O. Campbell was head of the State Fair Commission and on the City Planning Commission. After Mr. Campbell's death in 1946, his son, who owns Campbell Hobby House, moved into the house.

Mr. Prim was with Tinker Air Force Base.
