Beautification

Beautification of the neighborhood is paramount. The Beautification Committee has been working for several years to improve and landscape the N Lindsay Ave medians, which run from NE 13th St to NE 21st St, and Nichols Court Park, a triangular designated green space between N Philips Ave, Culbertson Dr and NE 18th St.

These projects have been aided not only by residents generously donating their time and money, but by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation by way of grants that have allowed the neighborhood association to plant dozens of trees. You can see the proposed location of trees from our grant proposal in the images below (actual locations of plantings may vary).

Work continues as the next phases of beautification will hopefully include planting beds of year-round perennials and shrubs throughout the medians and park. Additionally, tree-planting programs to help increase the number of tree-lined streets in Lincoln Terrace are being planned.
