LTNA Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee coordinates events to improve and preserve the look of the neighborhood. The committee also accepts nominations for and selects the Yard of the Month award. This award recognizes residents who go above and beyond to improve the look of their yards.
5 Year Master Plan
In August of 2017, the LTNA Board of Directors unanimously voted to accept and approve a 5 year beautification master plan. The master plan was developed over a 7 month period with hours of careful thought and decision making. The goal of the master plan is to create an overall coherent design that increases beauty, improves plant health
requires simple straightforward maintenance, and invites residents and visitors to enjoy the green corridor. LTNA has partnered with the City of Oklahoma City Parks and Rec Department along with OKC Beautiful to help achieve this goal. The 5 year beautification plan will not only help beautify our neighborhood, but will also ensure that Lincoln Terrace is preserved and enjoyed by all residents and visitors.
In September 2017, work began on the Lindsay Median (21st St and Lindsay & 13th St and Lindsay). “#” trees have been planted along with newly planted neighborhood entrance beds. To continue these efforts, the beautification committee has started a capital campaign. The funds collected will help create neighborhood green spaces and offer tree plantings to return Lincoln Terrace to the days of tree lined streets.
