817 N.E. 19th Street
The house at 817 is a one-story red brick house with dark red boarders at arched openings. There are two symmetrical gables facing the street. There was an exceptionally handsome wrought iron fencing across the front.

Mr. Bennet was an attorney.
Mr. Slaughter was a banker and was a senior law examiner with the RFC.
Mrs. Grace Slaughter was an editor for books and short stories.
