801 is a house built with cut stone and it is large and rambling with white trim and gabled roofs. The entrance is recessed under a cut stone archway, and is accented by arched dormer windows. There were huge cedars and a large garden area surrounded by matching white stone wall.

Dr. Floyd Bolend 1929-68
Thomas LaCoste 1968 -

Dr. Bolend was a general practitioner. He had the rough rock for the home transported in and the stone cut on the premises.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas LaCoste, granddaughter of Dr. Bolend, lived in the house after Dr. Bolend.
