724 N.E. 20th Street

724 has red brick, gabled roof and has a typical plan of the 700 block area. Shrubbery is so dense that a description was difficult (they worked from the photo at the bottom of this page.) An Indiana limestone keystone frames the arched doors.

Mr. Eagen was with the Security National Bank for many years. He became head of the RFC (Reconstruction Finance Commission) during Word War II.

Mr. Ederer was a charter member of, and instrumental in the organization of, the Oklahoma Association for Retarded Children. He was a founding member of the Oklahoma City Association, forerunner of the state group, and the moving force behind the Dale Rogers Center. He owned his own insurance agency.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were both journalists - having served as reporters for the Daily Oklahoman - and Mr. Taylor with the Oklahoma Journal. Mrs. Taylor was with the public relations office of the Health Sciences Center and later in charge of publications for Children's Memorial Hospital.
