710 N.E. 18th Street

710 is a red brick mingle hipped roof house. It has the typical plan of the rest of the block, and a one-story entrance projection featuring two small round headed windows flanking the round headed door. There are wrought iron grilles on these windows. The open porch has been filled. There is carved and cut stone work, typical of the area, ornamentally placed on the facade. Mr. G.A. Nichols built this house.

Stearns Gardner 1947 -

Mr. Reed was a salesman for Kansas City Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Gardner was in the firm of Gillman, Gardner, Kirk who are private oil jobbers.
