708 is a white painted brick house with brown shutters and trim. It was built by Harry Frederickson and decorated by Warren Ramsey. This house has a high-pitched modified hipped roof. The design is English and is one of a kind, beautifully landscaped.

Dr. Roddy was a physician specializing in internal medicine.

Mr. Mideke owns the Mideke Supply Company.

Mr. Filson's father made the "run" -- he was on the second train that pulled into Guthrie, Oklahoma on April 22, 1889. He was the last territorial lieutenant governor before statehood. He homesteaded at Guthrie and finished his career as national bank examiner.

Mr. Filson was Chief Clerk of the Federal District of Oklahoma, first in Guthrie, then when it moved to Oklahoma City he served with Judge Edgar Vaught. He died in 1967. His daughter, Mrs. Roy Nelson, who is married to a retired U.S. Air Force officer, subsequently lived in the house.
