638 is a buff brick house with a gabled roof and a one-story wing on the east. This house is newer than the rest in the area. At one point, the metal casement windows had green wrought iron cages ornamented with spear heads and castings of oak leaves with acorns in the center. The entrance portico is a two-storied curved projection with flat roof and with trellised columns in the same pattern.
