627 Culbertson has an orange and dark red mingled brick with a high pitched purple and red English tiled roof. The eave line "waves" over the second story windows. The central chimney has stone brackets, fancy on-edge brick and chimney pots including two windows piercing it. The first story windows are metal casements. There is a stucco half-timbering in the gable facing the street.

Mr. Gilliland was an attorney in the law firm of Gilliland, Ogden, Wittington, Shirk and Vaught. He was general counsel for Governor E.W. Marland during his term of office.

Dr. Maril was a physician, a general practitioner in private practice.

Mr. Dean was in the oil business.
