624 N.E. 16th Street

624 is a deep red brick ivy-covered house with a pitched roof and white trim in classical Georgian design. The entrance has a curved wood porch with Doric fluted columns and double pilasters. The door is an eight-paneled one with brass knockers, hardware, and side lights. over the turned balusters on the porch roof is a small palladian window with carved wood tympanum. The landscaping adds to the structure's natural grace.

Mr. Byrne was the secretary of the Chickasaw Lumber Company.

Mr. Brown was an oil man.

The Guilford Hagmann family moved from this house to 615 N.E. 18th Street.

Mr. Hudson was head librarian of the Oklahoma State Library. Mrs. Hudson is a psychiatric social worker.
