Bright mortar, orange-red and dark brown brick characterize this Spanish-tiled hipped roofed house. There is an arched entry porch on the west tied to the arched one-story porch on the east with a raised terrace fenced with wrought iron.

Lewis Hughes

Mr. Pirtle was a banker and in the investment business. His name was among those selected to be put on the cornerstone of the Capitol Building.

Mr. Putty owned an electrical company.

Mr. Hughes was president of the Hughes Oil Company.
