612 N.E. 18th Street

The house at 612 N.E. 18th Street is a yellow buff brick house. This large English style house is dominated by a central chimney with a wide sweeping gable enclosing an entrance gable. The west wing has a second story half-timbered stucco gable over triple windows. This house was built by G.A. Nichols under a tent -- available for inspection at all stages during the construction.

Mr. Swatek is the son of the founder of the M.A. Swatek Construction Company which was founded in 1903. The company specializes in the construction of streets, highways, and utilities. It is now under the direction of the third generation of the family and has done much work in the city and state.

Mr. Dunlap was president of the Oklahoma Creosoted Lumber and Piling Company, and president of the Dunlap Company.

Mr. Webber was the first radio preacher in this area. His broadcast studio was in his home.

Dr. Gunn was a member of the Department of Medicine of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
