The style of this elegant brick house is Neo-Classical. The roof maintains its wooden shingles, while the doorway is graced by a fan window. Leading out of the house to the east yard are French doors and on the west is an arched porte-cochere.

Mr. Sherman, active in civic affairs, owned and operated the Sherman Machine and Ironworks. This company was awarded the contract for the water meter covers for the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

Mr. Fillmore was an oil operator.

Mr. Adair owned and operated a chain of cafeterias here in the city. He was also elected as County Commissioner.
